Welcome to the website of the foundation of Hemato-Oncologie voor Volwassenen Nederland (HOVON – the Haemato Oncology Foundation for Adults in the Netherlands).
The activities of the foundation are focused on improving and promoting treatment methods for adult patients with malignant haematological disorders, such as leukaemia and lymphoma.
This website is primarily intended for interested parties from the medical world (doctors, nurses, data managers, statisticians, medical insurers, etc.) but of course can also be consulted by patients.
Trials into haematological syndromesThe core of this website consists of information about the various HOVON trials into the different haematological syndromes. This information can be accessed via the tab page Trials.
Medical practitioners can consult information about current trials via the tab page Working groups, trace general trial information (such as HOVON guidelines, documents and legislation) and consult treatment protocols.
The tab page Field of work, describes for example how new trials can be introduced and how to participate in trials already underway.
Patients can access the majority of this information. Specific information for patients is available under the tab page Patient.
